Emirates set to become the world’s first Autism Certified Airline
Emirates has launched an initiative to become the world’s first Autism Certified Airline™, offering enhanced services for passengers with autism and sensory sensitivities. This certification, expected from IBCCES soon, follows training for over 30,000 staff and will include new standards to improve both ground and inflight experiences for families and individuals on the autism spectrum.
Starting April 3, BART will feature recordings from youth on the autism spectrum as part of the Autism Transit Project, celebrating Autism Acceptance Month. The announcements will play every hour at 35 BART stations throughout April, showcasing the voices of some of the project's participants.
